Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with dogs that have a bite history?

Yes, I specialize in helping dogs who have behavioral issues, including biting. I understand that every dog is unique and that biting often stems from an underlying cause that needs to be addressed for effective rehabilitation.

My approach involves holistic and instinctual methods, taking into account the dog's natural behaviors and tendencies. By crafting a personalized training plan that delves into the specific triggers and behaviors associated with a dog's bite history, I aim to create a secure and positive environment for both the dog and their owners. It's crucial to recognize that biting is often a symptom of deeper issues, and through careful observation and analysis, we work together to identify and understand these underlying causes.

Throughout the training process, safety remains paramount, and I implement stringent protocols while using specialized equipment as needed. My ultimate goal is to promote understanding, trust, and rehabilitation, facilitating these dogs' successful reintegration into society and their journey toward becoming content, relaxed, and well-balanced companions.

Do you work with all breeds?

Absolutely. I offer comprehensive training services for dogs of all breeds, focusing on understanding and fulfilling their instinctual and natural needs.

Whether you're a proud owner of a Chihuahua, Pitbull, Great Dane, or any other breed, I am fully prepared to provide expert guidance in nurturing positive behaviors and strengthening the bond between you and your canine companion. My training approach revolves around acknowledging and addressing the inherent instincts of each dog, ensuring that training sessions are not only effective but also satisfying for both the owner and the dog.

From fundamental obedience commands to tackling specific behavioral concerns, my commitment is steadfast in aiding dogs of all breeds to feel safe, secure, and fulfilled, in order to become well-mannered members of your household.

Does my dog need to know basic commands before starting?

No pre-existing training is required to begin your journey. While familiarity with basic commands can be beneficial, this approach places a strong emphasis on building a meaningful relationship and addressing your dog's individual needs. Commands will be learned along the way, so don’t stress!

How many sessions should we have?

At least four. The magic lies in repetition and practice – just as we humans learn through consistent exposure, dogs too thrive when exposed to a series of training sessions. Repetition reinforces desired behaviors, transforming them into lasting habits that become second nature to our dogs.

Multiple training sessions holds dual significance, as it gives our dogs a routine and helps you as the handler become not only comfortable but confident in the techniques you learn. Most notable is that multiple sessions enable owners to grasp the nuances of their dog's behavior, learning how to interpret cues, respond appropriately, and reinforce positive actions. This hands-on experience empowers owners to confidently handle a variety of situations, from basic commands to complex behavioral challenges.

It is important for us to commit to these sessions, not just for our dogs' development, but for our own growth as well. Together, we'll create an unbreakable and enriching relationship that will last a lifetime.
