If you're feeling overwhelmed by your dog’s behavior, you’re not alone. Many dog owners struggle with reactivity, leash manners, and helping their dog settle. Our Board and Train programs offer a structured, immersive experience where your dog gains essential skills and exposure to real-world situations, all under the expert guidance of a trainer.
How Our Board and Train Program Works
Step 1: Initial Assessment & Customization
We start with a one-on-one consultation to assess your dog’s unique needs. This consultation is $170, and will be put towards the total of your Board and Train cost. During this in-person consult, we’ll observe their behavior challenges, discuss goals and any specific issues you’d like to address. Based on this assessment, we’ll customize a training plan to ensure the best results for your dog.
Step 2: Structured, Immersive Training
Your dog will spend time in my home, where they’ll receive daily training sessions tailored to their goals. This includes building foundational skills like leash manners, impulse control, recall, and settling. The training is both structured and dynamic, allowing your dog to gain confidence and learn in a distraction-free environment.
Step 3: Real-World Exposure
In addition to the controlled training environment, your dog will be gradually exposed to real-world situations, such as walking through public spaces or exposure to other dogs. These experiences are essential for generalizing their skills and helping them handle everyday challenges with confidence.
Step 5: Transition & Owner Involvement
Once your dog has completed the program, we’ll schedule multiple transitional sessions to work with you directly. You’ll learn how to reinforce the skills your dog has learned and ensure continued progress at home. This is where your involvement becomes key—consistent practice will help solidify your dog’s new behaviors in their everyday life.
Step 4: Ongoing Progress Monitoring & Updates
Throughout the program, you’ll receive regular updates on your dog’s progress, including videos and progress reports. We believe in transparency and want you to feel involved in your dog’s development.
